Hello and welcome to the site of a truly great Elvis Tribute Artist, Matt King.

Matt has been performing his tribute to the ultimate showman, Elvis for about 17 years now, and plays all over Europe, including such diverse locations as Finland and 'way down' to Spain.

He began performing his tribute show in Tenerife, Canary Islands in February 1991, after winning a holiday Elvis sound-alike contest and he's not looked back since,"absolutely loving every minute" of the journey.

Matt is also the European Champion of 2004 when he won the 1st "Walk a Golden Mile in my shoes" contest in Blackpool. He beat over 50 other Elvis Tribute artists over a 4 day event and is regarded as one of the best Elvis tributes by his peers in the business.

He has appeared on numerous TV programmes including; The Time, The Place (ITV), Naked City with Lily Savage (Channel 4), The Richard and Judy show in Jan 2005, GMTV search for Elvis (ITV), London Tonight evening news after wining Blackpool contest 2004 also Elvis Special 'Weakest Link' and various media programmes including 'Virgin' with Paul Ross, featuring on Sky News and local radio Jackie.

Matt's show is designed and performed in a style that is most effective in the venue or occasion that he has been booked for, e.g. perfect for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, restaurants and most other occasions where you think 'Elvis' would be great entertainment.

The show content is inclusive of all the 'major' hits, including Wonder of you, Hound dog, American Trilogy, Jailhouse rock, Blue suede shoes and yes, Suspicious minds to name just a few, plus many, many more songs that you may wish to request when booking the show.

Matt's tribute pays close attention to the detail of what's required to be classed as a quality Elvis tribute. i.e. well tailored costumes is a must because visually its all important to look as good as you can and most important of all Matt's vocal impersonation (singing voice) is very close without being over the top or exaggerated as is the case in so many others.
